Goranska biciklistička transversal is a new bicycle route that connects all cities and municipalities of Gorski kotar and their natural, cultural and historical attractions and gastronomic delicacies. It takes you along the existing forest and local roads with little traffic and is intended primarily for lovers of nature and mountain biking.
Through the transversal, you get to know the entire area of Gorski Kotar in parts, which allows you to plan a multi-day active vacation. It consists of 7 stages from 28 to 43 kilometers and has a total of 260 kilometers. Together with 9 links it makes more than 400 kilometers of unique pleasure on 2 wheels. Due to the recognizable and attractive terrain configuration, the entire transversal has more than 5,000 meters of total ascent and as many descents.
